This delicious and refreshing green smoothie is jam packed with vitamins, minerals, fiber, antioxidants, and so much more!
Superfood Green Smoothie
Yield: approx. 2 ½ cups
Prep Time: 5 min
Ingredients:
2 cups fresh baby spinach or kale
1 large apple, chopped
1 cup diced pineapple
½ ripe avocado
¼ cup fresh mint leaves
2 tablespoons date syrup
¼ teaspoon ginger powder
¼ teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon maca powder
1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice
1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds
1 ½ cup water
Ice cubes
Directions:
In a blender, combine and blend all the ingredients until the mixture is smooth and creamy. You may add more water for a thinner texture, if you desire.
Enjoy immediately!
